Suspend electronic tax system to upgrade to two-tier local government model

On June 27, the Tax Department of Region XIII notified taxpayers in the area of ​​its management about the temporary suspension of the electronic tax system to upgrade the information technology infrastructure, serving the requirements of arranging tax agencies according to the two-level local government model and implementing a number of new tax regulations effective from July 1, 2025.

Accordingly, the Tax sector will temporarily suspend the operation of the following systems: Tax Department's electronic information page; Tax procedure service practice management system (THI); E-commerce information portal; Information portal for households and individuals doing e-commerce and digital business; electronic tax applications such as eTax, iCanhan, eTax Mobile; Information exchange system with external units and organizations (DataHub/GIP/T2B); Internal management system of the Tax sector from 6:00 p.m. on June 27 to 8:00 a.m. on July 1, 2025. In particular, the electronic invoice application will temporarily suspend its operation from 0-3:00 a.m. on July 1, 2025.

During the suspension of the above systems for upgrading and conversion, the tax authority will continue to receive and handle tax administrative procedures directly at the one-stop department and via post.
