Departure suspension for 62 business owners with tax debts

According to information from Quang Tri Provincial Tax Department, by the end of June 2025, the unit had sent a notice to the Immigration Department - Ministry of Public Security requesting temporary suspension of exit for 62 legal representatives of tax-indebted enterprises with a debt of 1,500 billion VND.

Among them, there are many enterprises with large tax debts such as: Hung Phat Production - Trading Company Limited, Viet Tien Construction Company Limited, Dai Phuc Quang Binh Construction Joint Stock Company, Viet Group Central Joint Stock Company, Quang Binh Shipbuilding Industry Company Limited... The time of temporary suspension of exit from the country is from the date of decision until the taxpayer completes the tax payment obligation to the state budget.

To effectively implement debt management and tax debt enforcement, every month, the Quang Tri Tax Department has publicly announced the list of enterprises that still owe taxes, especially those that are dragging their feet and have large tax debts on the mass media; fully implemented debt management and tax debt enforcement measures, including promoting the application of temporary exit suspension measures for legal representatives of enterprises that are being forced to enforce administrative decisions on tax management and have not yet fulfilled their tax payment obligations, especially those that are no longer operating at the registered address.

Deputy Head of Quang Tri Province Tax Vu Quoc Dung said that in the management of state budget collection, in addition to ensuring the collection is completed and exceeded the estimate assigned by the Ministry of Finance and the Provincial People's Council, it is also necessary to ensure fairness in the implementation of tax obligations according to the law. The Tax Department will resolutely implement measures to enforce tax debt against taxpayers who deliberately delay and delay tax debt payment.

It is known that recently, the Quang Tri Tax Department has collected 2.7 billion VND in tax debt from 2 enterprises whose legal representatives were temporarily suspended from leaving the country.
