In recent years, the Steering Committee for New Rural Construction of Thanh Bac commune has focused on leading and directing the implementation of essential key tasks from propaganda and mobilization to specific implementation of targets and criteria. Especially criterion 15 is to propagate and mobilize people to participate in health insurance. Before building the new rural area, Thanh Bac commune only had over 70% of people participating in health insurance, now this rate is over 90%...
Regarding the criteriaof education and training, which are always given priority, Thanh Bac commune strives to achieve universal preschool education for 5-year-old children, universal primary and secondary education. Ensuring that most local children are cared for and educated 2 sessions/day, for a full school year to prepare them well physically, intellectually, emotionally, aesthetically, in Vietnamese and psychologically ready to go to school.
The school system focused on mobilizing resources to invest in building solid schools, improving the quality of classrooms, and improving the quantity and quality of teachers and staff.
Currently, the commune's traffic system has been invested in, the transport infrastructure has made great strides with a widespread traffic network, many roads have been expanded, invested and upgraded, contributing significantly to the overall socio -economic development.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh - Chairman of Tan Bien District People's Committee determined that in the coming time, the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Bac commune need to be more determined to continue to maintain and uphold the achieved criteria; create a foundation to complete the construction of an advanced new-style rural commune, a model new-style rural commune in the coming time.
On this occasion, the District People's Committee awarded 5 collectives and 11 individuals; the Commune People's Committee awarded 3 collectives and 40 individuals with achievements in building new rural areas in Thanh Bac commune in 2023.
