Tan Son Nhat has free buses running internal routes for connecting passengers.

Terminal T3, which has just been put into operation, specializes in serving domestic flights similar to Terminal T1, while Terminal T2 is for international flights.

However, the distance between T3 and T1 is quite far and inconvenient if you have to go around the airport, through the crowded Truong Son road. The deployment of free buses running in the airport parking lot helps to significantly shorten the distance and time.

The bus route operates from 7am to 3am the following morning, with a frequency of 20 minutes/trip.

Specific route: from the transit hall of terminal T3, the bus will run through the aircraft parking lot and take passengers to gate A2 of terminal T1.

This service is exclusively for transit passengers who have completed check-in procedures and have a boarding pass for the next flight.

Checked baggage is also automatically forwarded by airlines.

After getting off at Gate A2 of Terminal T1, passengers can continue their journey at Terminal T1 (domestic flights) or Terminal T2 (international flights).

It is worth noting that this bus route currently operates only one way from terminal T3 to gate A2 of terminal T1.

One-way bus from T3 to T1 will be convenient for passengers flying from Hanoi or Van Don to Ho Chi Minh City.

Currently, Vietnam Airlines is the only airline operating at Terminal T3 with two routes: Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City - Van Don.

Passengers connecting on routes such as from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City to continue to France, Germany or other international destinations can use this service.

Similarly, passengers flying from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City on Vietnam Airlines flights, then connecting to Con Dao operated by Vasco, can also use the free bus to go to Terminal T1 - which serves domestic flights.

For international passengers, after getting off at gate A2 of T1, it only takes about 5 more minutes to get to terminal T2 to complete exit procedures.
