Raised alert level II on Buoi River at Kim Tan Hydrological Station

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - At 9:00 a.m. on August 26, the Thanh Hoa Province Civil Defense Command continued to issue Official Dispatch No. 25 ordering an increase in alert level II on the Buoi River at the Kim Tan Hydrological Station.

According to the flood warning bulletin on Buoi River No. DBLU-35/06h30/THOA dated August 26, 2025 of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, at 7:00 a.m. on August 26, 2025, the water level on Buoi River at Kim Tan Hydrological Station was +10.23 m (0.23 m below BĐI); the warning of the downstream water level on Buoi River at Kim Tan Hydrological Station is likely to reach Alarm Level II (+11.00 m) at 10-12:00 a.m. on August 26, 2025.

The Provincial Civil Defense Command issued a second alert on the Buoi River at the Kim Tan Hydrological Station, requesting the Chairmen of the People's Committees of Tay Do, Vinh Loc, Kim Tan, and Thach Binh communes to immediately deploy dike patrols and protection according to the alert levels.

Organize inspection, review and be ready to deploy plans to ensure the safety of dike works; especially key dike points and culverts across dikes in the area.

Proactively implement evacuation plans for people living in riverbank areas.

Organize a 24/7 duty team, closely monitor the development of rain and floods to be ready to handle situations from the first hour; promptly inform and report to the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Control Command Office and the Standing Office of the Provincial Civil Defense Command.
