Muong Chanh Commune Police braved flood to help a woman in labor get to the hospital

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - At around 8am on August 26, the police of Muong Chanh border commune (Thanh Hoa) received a report about a pregnant woman in Lach village who was in labor and needed to be taken to the hospital immediately. While heavy rains caused flooding, people and vehicles in the village could not move outside.

Take the pregnant woman across the dangerous overflow area to the hospital.

Immediately after receiving the report from the local security force, Muong Chanh Commune Police assigned a working group, using the unit's patrol car to quickly approach the pregnant woman's house and coordinate with the local security force and local people to help put the pregnant woman in the car, overcome the dangerous area to get to the hospital.

It is known that the pregnant woman's name is Trinh Thi Nhung (born 2003) in Lach village, Muong Chanh commune. From the pregnant woman's house to the general hospital is about 35km.

After receiving support from the police, at around 11am the same day, the pregnant woman was taken safely to the hospital for doctors to continue monitoring and assisting with the birth.

The fact that Muong Chanh Commune Police, together with other forces, regardless of rain, wind, and floods, quickly appeared to support and help people during the storm and rain has received the attention and recognition of the masses.
