On the morning of October 27, in Ham Thanh commune (Lam Dong), local people and police promptly discovered and assisted a female lottery ticket seller who had been swept away by the floodwaters into the river.

Accordingly, a woman selling lottery tickets was driving a motorbike through a flooded road and was swept away by the water, both herself and her motorbike. Fortunately, thanks to the timely discovery and support of the people and the police, she was pulled to safety.

The motorbike was later recovered, but all the lottery tickets she was carrying were wet. The police and people around helped her dry the tickets.

On the evening of October 26, prolonged heavy rain combined with water flowing from upstream caused many areas in Ham Thanh commune, especially Dan Cuong village near Linh river, to be severely flooded. Water continued to rise and flow rapidly at some points, posing a danger to pedestrians.
