(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Due to the impact of storm No. 5, by noon on August 26, many sections of National Highway 15 through Hoi Xuan commune (formerly Quan Hoa district) were still deeply flooded, causing traffic disruption. Vehicles from Muong Lat and Quan Hoa (formerly) going downstream had to temporarily stop to ensure safety.

As soon as they learned of the situation, road management forces blocked traffic through flooded roads and warned of the risk of insecurity for people and vehicles.

Local authorities have assigned forces to guard 24/7 at key points, preventing people and vehicles from entering dangerous areas.

Authorities said they are closely monitoring the flood situation and are ready to deploy a recovery plan. When the water recedes, they will inspect and assess the extent of damage to quickly clear the route and ensure people's travel.
