Due to the impact of storm No. 3 and the heavy rains in late July and early August, flooding, flash floods and landslides occurred in many localities in the province, causing damage to people, property and state works.

With the spirit of mutual love, mutual assistance, and together looking towards the people in the areas affected by floods, Son La Cassava Starch Factory and raw material suppliers in the whole province visited and gave gifts to people affected by floods in Muong Lam commune, including 2 tons of rice and 100 packs of milk, totaling 30 million VND, contributing to helping people stabilize their lives soon.
