The delegation was led by journalist Vu Viet Trang, General Director of VNA; also attending were journalist Nguyen Thien Thuat, Editor-in-Chief of Sports and Culture Newspaper; leaders of VNA departments; the Department of Education and Training of Tuyen Quang province; leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Meo Vac commune.
The school is built on a 117m² campus, including a large classroom, a small classroom and a teacher's dormitory, ensuring learning and living conditions for students and teachers. The facade is decorated with a snail climbing a mountain - a symbol of the perseverance and progress of the people in the highlands.
Construction began in May 2025 and the project was completed with a total cost of over VND354 million, serving 40 students who are children of local ethnic minorities. The project was sponsored by VNA, Sports and Culture Newspaper and mobilized from benefactors. On this occasion, Sports and Culture Newspaper also presented gifts of school supplies to the students.
The inauguration ceremony took place in the context of the whole country joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; at the same time, implementing the policy of building 248 primary and secondary boarding schools in the border communes, demonstrating the concern of the Party, State and the whole society for people in difficult areas.
