Providing support to flood victims in Dien Bien.

From August 6 to 8, a working group of the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children, with the joint contributions of many charitable organizations, provided support to poor people affected by floods in Dien Bien province.

Overcoming difficult journeys, the working group, with the participation of donations and support from the Loving Rice Club (879 De La Thanh, Hanoi), the Sharing Love Group, the Thien Tam Pickup Truck Club, the Journey from the Heart Club and Hai Ngu Tourism and Hotel Company Limited - Thuy Ngu Hotel, Nhat Tam 0 Dong Restaurant (Branch 27 Tran Binh - Hanoi) ... brought support in the form of essential products, giving them to 200 households in Huoi Co village, Canh Lay village ... in Dien Bien province. These are households that have just suffered heavy damage due to floods.

The supporting gifts include plastic pots, plastic mats, tulle curtains, winter blankets, instant noodles, cooking oil, fish sauce, salt, sugar, MSG, calcium powder, fruits, etc. Along with the supporting gifts donated by the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children and the Schools and Centers under the Association also donated 26.3 million VND in cash, 20 boxes of instant noodles, 10 boxes of milk, 10 boxes of cakes, 35 boxes of clothes, etc.

Mr. Bui Van Tuan, Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children, said: “Before the gift-giving ceremony in Dien Bien, the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children also provided support to a number of households affected by floods in Son La and Nghe An. The mobilization of philanthropists to join hands in providing support to the victims of storms and floods is aimed at contributing to the storm with the wish that “many drops of water will make an ocean”, helping people to quickly overcome the consequences of storms and floods, rebuilding their lives after natural disasters. Along with the support activities to help victims of storms and floods, the Association has been focusing on implementing the Plan to give gifts to disabled children on the occasion of the new school year and the Mid-Autumn Festival”.
