Mr. Pham Hung - Head of Border Gate Management Department - Lao Cai Economic Zone Management Board said that at Kim Thanh International Border Gate - Lao Cai, along with durian, trucks transporting lychees are always given priority from early morning. Customs clearance procedures are also prioritized, so businesses save transportation time and ensure the quality of lychees when exported to the Chinese market.

At the same time, the unit has directed customs officers to work 45 minutes earlier than the opening time of the border gate. The unit also regularly contacts the Chinese Customs to have information to support Vietnamese import-export enterprises, especially agricultural export enterprises, to be more proactive in planning customs clearance of goods.
