Create a ripple effect from team work and children's movement

Team activities and children's movements help train students' morality, intelligence, physical strength and aesthetics.

The Provincial Young Pioneer Council (YH) currently has 9 district-level YH units, 172 commune-level YH units and 390 primary and secondary school teams, with 210,000 children, including over 161,000 team members. In recent times, the Provincial YH has effectively promoted its role in guiding and leading the local children's movement, contributing positively to the overall development of the YH organization.

The Provincial Youth Union has done a good job of advising the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee to concretize the action program of the Young Pioneers Team (YVY) to implement the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2022-2027. At the same time, the unit also closely coordinated with all levels, sectors, and mass organizations to effectively carry out the work of caring for and educating children in the province.

Implementing the movement "Thai Nguyen children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings", the Youth Union at all levels in the province has creatively implemented many forms such as: "Healthy and happy children - step up to the Youth Union" festival, "Proud of a strip of land and rivers" campaign, "Vietnamese children - Study well, practice hard" program... Each activity is highly educational, integrating historical, cultural and ethical elements to foster patriotism and beautiful living ideals for children.

The Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Pioneer Councils at all levels regularly organize activities to commend and encourage outstanding youth and children to build and spread examples and movements.

From 2023 to now, the team bases have organized over 12,000 activities to help families of war invalids and martyrs with over 200,000 working days to take care of cemeteries and memorials for heroes and martyrs; nearly 700 activities to red addresses, attracting over 215,000 children to participate...

To create a comprehensive, friendly and safe educational environment, the Provincial Youth Union has effectively implemented community-oriented activities, such as: "Circle of Friends", "Raising Saving Pigs"... or building the "Red Scarf House" youth project... not only contributing to supporting thousands of children in difficult circumstances, but also nurturing the spirit of sharing and mutual love in the young generation.

In the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year alone, the province has helped and given gifts to 12,274 children in difficult circumstances, with a total support budget of 1.7 billion VND. From 2023 to present, the Provincial People's Council has supported funding and given 5 Red Scarf houses to children in difficult circumstances, creating motivation for them to excel in their studies and life.

Along with the work of training team members, building strong teams and unions, the work of developing team leaders is also focused on. Organizing skill training courses, training camps for team leaders, propaganda festivals for young people... has helped improve the quality of team organization, promoting the self-management and dynamism of team members. Thereby, from 2023 to present, more than 30,000 Uncle Ho's good children at the union level, 1,830 Uncle Ho's good children at the district level have been recognized...

One of the highlights of the work of the Thai Nguyen provincial Youth Union is the promotion of the implementation of children's right to participate in issues related to children. The establishment of the provincial Children's Council along with models such as "Mailbox of what I want to say", organizing annual children's forums... has created a space for children to listen, share and express their legitimate aspirations. More than 183,000 children have participated in giving their opinions, sending more than 3,000 opinions, many of which have been considered and resolved by leaders at all levels. This is not only an innovation in method but also an important step forward in building a foundation of democracy, responsibility and confidence for the young generation.

At the same time, we have created a playground for children to demonstrate their abilities, exchange, learn, and foster the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, and sharing of each Youth Union member, teenager and child. In the coming time, the Provincial Youth Union will continue to guide the Youth Unions at all levels in the province to actively implement the Youth Union activities, effectively implement Uncle Ho's 5 teachings, promote creative emulation movements, build a healthy, safe and beneficial environment, promptly take care of the Youth Union members and children to develop comprehensively, worthy of being Uncle Ho's good children.
