What does FLC Group explain about the prosecution of 15 more related people?

FLC Group's official dispatch released on July 4 explained the authenticity of the information that the Ministry of Public Security's investigation agency decided to prosecute 15 more people related to the stock manipulation case of former Chairman of the Board of Directors Trinh Van Quyet. According to FLC, there are some individuals who are not employees of the company.

FLC Group announced that many individuals who have just been prosecuted in connection with the stock manipulation case are not employees.

Specifically, on June 23, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency prosecuted and imposed a measure of house arrest on 15 people to investigate the crime of stock manipulation. According to FLC, 10 individuals were not employees of the company. Therefore, FLC did not have records to verify the information.

In addition, there are 2 individuals, Do Thi Huyen Trang - Head of Accounting Department of the member company - Accounting Department, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga - of the General Accounting Department. Both of these individuals have stopped working at FLC since before the decision to prosecute. Specifically, Ms. Nga stopped working at FLC since June 1, 2023 and Ms. Trang stopped working since June 10, 2023. Therefore, FLC does not have documents to verify the information of prosecution against these 2 individuals.

The document of FLC Group also affirmed that the group is not a related entity or has any activities related to the case of Mr. Trinh Van Quyet - former Chairman of the Board of Directors, who was prosecuted for "manipulating the stock market". The case absolutely does not affect or change the important orientations of FLC in production, investment, business as well as sustainable development.

Among the 15 defendants who have just been prosecuted, and although FLC said they are not employees of the group, many people have been identified as leaders and employees of FLC's subsidiaries. They are Trinh Van Dai - Deputy General Director of FLC Faros; Trinh Thi Thanh Huyen - employee of FLC Homes; Trinh Tuan - Head of FLC Land's Materials Department; Trinh Van Nam - Bamboo Airways Joint Stock Company... At the same time, there are defendants belonging to BOS Securities Company such as Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong - Head of Securities Services Department; Bui Ngoc Tu - Deputy Head of Securities Services Department; Quach Thi Xuan Thu - Chief Accountant...
