President Donald Trump is aggressively pushing Apple to move iPhone production back to the US, including threatening to impose an additional 25% tax on Apple products manufactured abroad and imported into the US market.
While Apple has shown no signs of bringing its iPhone manufacturing plant to the US, The Trump Organization has suddenly announced its first phone called T1 Phone 8002, and introduced the Trump Mobile mobile network.

The T1 Phone 8002 was introduced by Mr. Eric Trump, Vice President of the Trump Group (the second son of President Trump), as a product designed and manufactured entirely in the US, although the specific factory or manufacturing partner was not announced.
On the official website, the only image of the product is a graphic, showing the device with a yellow back design, printed with the T1 logo and the American flag. The triple rear camera cluster is arranged like the iPhone - the phone that President Trump once favored.
In terms of specifications, the T1 Phone 8002 has a 6.78-inch screen, 120Hz refresh rate, 12GB RAM, 256GB internal memory. Information about the chip has not been announced. The rear camera cluster includes a 50MP main camera, two 2MP secondary sensors for macro photography and depth measurement. The 16MP front camera is located in the screen.
The device uses a 5,000mAh battery, 20W charging, integrated fingerprint in the screen, supports face unlock. Notably, the device still retains the 3.5mm headphone jack and external memory card slot - details that are increasingly rare on modern smartphones. The device runs Android 15 operating system.
The T1 Phone 8002 will be available from September for $499, and users can deposit $100 to receive it early when it goes on sale.
At the same time, the Trump Group also announced the Trump Mobile mobile network with a monthly fee of 47.45 USD. Many opinions say that this number has symbolic meaning because Mr. Trump is the 45th and 47th President of the United States.
Trump Mobile promises coverage comparable to Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Users are not required to purchase a T1 Phone 8002 to use the service.
In addition to unlimited texting, calling, and 20GB of Internet data per month, Trump Mobile subscribers also enjoy telemedicine and unlimited international texting to at least 100 countries.
