Training on border management and protection for 40 Lao Border Guard officers

Colonel Ho Quyet Thang, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province and delegates visited and encouraged the students.

The training course aims to exchange professional knowledge and experience and strengthen coordination in border management and protection, maintain political security and social order and safety in border areas, and jointly build a common border between the two countries for peace , stability, cooperation and sustainable and long-term development.

Through training to consolidate and strengthen the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two countries, border provinces and especially between the Nghe An Border Guard Command and the Military Command of Xieng Khouang and Hua Phan provinces.

Colonel Ho Quyet Thang, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Nghe An Border Guard Command, asked the students to take advantage of their time to actively study and review, and grasp the lecture content.

This activity is the concretization of the Cooperation Agreement for the period 2023-2025 between the High-level Delegation of Nghe An province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the High-level Delegation of Hua Phan and Xieng Khouang provinces, Lao People's Democratic Republic.

During the training period, Lao border guards will be provided with some basic knowledge on border management and protection, military work, border operations, etc. On that basis, the two sides will coordinate more closely and effectively in border patrol, management and protection and properly resolve issues related to both sides of the border.

The training course is expected to last about 1 month.

Captain Mua Gia Giong Ma, Border Guard Company 221, Military Command of Xieng Khouang Province (Laos) represented the students to speak at the opening ceremony.

Speaking at the opening of the training course, Colonel Ho Quyet Thang, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Nghe An Border Guard Command, asked the trainees to take advantage of their time, actively study and review, and grasp the lecture content.

After returning to the unit, they are responsible for imparting the acquired knowledge to comrades who have not participated in training and flexibly and creatively applying it to practical border management and protection work.

Na Ngoi Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) presented gifts to Border Guard Company 224, Military Command of Xieng Khouang province (Laos), organizing bilateral border patrol.

Colonel Ho Quyet Thang also noted that during the training process, strictly comply with Vietnamese laws, discipline and rules and regulations of the training course organizing committee, unite and help each other in studying and living, contributing to building the special solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

For the Organizing Committee of the training course, maintain the operation of the training course in accordance with the approved program content; manage trainees to comply with the prescribed regimes; regularly check and urge the teaching and learning of teachers and trainees. Timely propose to the Command of Nghe An Border Guard to resolve related issues. At the end of the course, it is necessary to organize a serious, objective and accurate test and evaluation of the results.
