Hoang Xa is a mountainous commune in the south of Thanh Thuy district, the people are mainly Catholics. The number of workers in the service and trade sector is currently 1,881 people, accounting for 30% of the total social workforce.
The locality also actively cooperates with credit institutions to implement loan programs to help organizations, individuals, and households develop well the trade and service sectors.
