Focus on removing difficulties and obstacles to promote socio-economic development of Hung Ha district

On the afternoon of May 26, a working delegation of the Provincial People's Committee led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with the People's Committee of Hung Ha district on the socio -economic development situation, disbursement of public investment capital, and removal of difficulties in production and business. Attending the meeting were members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and departments, branches and sectors.

Since the beginning of the year, Hung Ha district has focused on leading, directing and drastically implementing solutions, thereby achieving many positive results. The total production value is estimated at 10,499.85 billion VND, an increase of 7.89% over the same period in 2022; of which agriculture, forestry and fishery increased by 2.75%; industry and construction increased by 9.91%; trade and services increased by 6.5% over the same period in 2022. The total state budget revenue in the area is estimated at 585.16 billion VND, reaching 39% of the estimate. To date, the district has 4 communes recognized as advanced new rural communes; 41 compensation and support plans for site clearance have been approved with a total recovered area of 15.7 hectares of land of 662 households with a compensation and support amount of 30.8 billion VND; 7/11 industrial clusters have had decisions to establish and approved zoning plans at a scale of 1/2,000 with a total area of 282.82 hectares. Attention is paid to cultural and social fields; national defense and security continue to be strengthened, and social order and safety are ensured.

At the working session, the leaders of the province, departments, branches and Hung Ha district focused on discussing and discussing solutions to remove difficulties and bottlenecks to promote the economic development of the district such as: removing difficulties and obstacles in planning and land use plans; site clearance; speeding up the progress of procedures to soon start construction of some key projects in the area; supporting funding for the district to invest in important transport projects to serve regional connectivity, economic development and investment attraction; policies and mechanisms to support new rural construction; developing resort tourism , cultural and spiritual tourism and some contents in decentralization and authorization in the field of handling administrative procedures, granting land use right certificates; having solutions to handle environmental pollution in craft villages; focusing on building strategic and long-term plans; developing industrial clusters, substantially removing difficulties for enterprises and craft villages... In his concluding remarks, Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: The socio-economic development results of Hung Ha district are very remarkable. In order to make a stronger breakthrough, the district needs to overcome limitations and shortcomings, especially in site clearance, disbursement of public investment capital, outstanding debts in basic construction, violations of land and traffic, etc.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, he suggested that Hung Ha district needs to clearly understand the characteristics and context of the current difficult situation in order to thoroughly grasp and deploy, seriously implement the directions of the central and provincial governments on socio-economic development tasks. In particular, focusing on exploiting the strengths and available potentials of the district to develop agriculture, applying mechanization to the land, taking advantage of the alluvial areas to grow medicinal plants and high-value crops; focusing resources on building advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas; effectively exploiting the potential for developing spiritual tourism, tourism associated with agriculture and developing trade and services; speeding up the progress of key projects of the province and district in the area; focusing on developing industry, attracting investment in industrial clusters, developing craft villages; being more drastic in collecting the state budget; focusing on completing quality assurance plans; focusing on removing difficulties and obstacles to promote socio-economic development of the district.

Also at the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee answered a number of recommendations and proposals from the district; at the same time, requested the Office of the Provincial People's Committee and the district to synthesize the comments contributed at the meeting as a basis for the province and district to implement solutions, thereby promoting the socio-economic development of Hung Ha in the coming time.
