According to the Traffic Police Department, from November 15, 2025, the Traffic Police will continue to increase forces and vehicles to coordinate with the Commune-level Police to implement phase 2 of the peak period to strengthen the work of ensuring traffic order and safety for school-age children in the province.

Authorities have stepped up patrols, controls and violations during peak hours when students go to and from school.

Resolutely handle cases of student violations.

The Traffic Police Department arranges forces to use equipment, techniques, and expertise to record and coordinate with the Commune Police to inspect and handle cases of: driving motorbikes and mopeds without a driver's license; not wearing helmets; carrying more people than prescribed...

The inspection is carried out at the school gate area, on the roads leading to the school or directly in the school's parking lots and on the people.

In case of detecting violations, an administrative violation report will be drawn up and strictly handled, including the act of handing over the vehicle to an unqualified person... Traffic police will make a list of violations and coordinate with schools, students' families, and commune-level police to take management measures.

On November 18 alone, the Traffic Police Department coordinated with the police of communes and wards to patrol, control and handle 14 cases of students violating traffic safety order; 11 cases of parents handing over vehicles or letting unqualified people drive; and temporarily detained 13 vehicles.

According to the plan, the work of strengthening traffic safety for school-age children will be carried out in 2 phases. Phase 1 from October 24 to November 14, 2025, phase 2 from November 15 until new instructions are issued.

The Traffic Police Department closely coordinates with relevant agencies, departments and branches to synchronously implement measures to ensure traffic order and safety for school-age children; regularly and continuously implement to achieve the goal of reducing traffic accidents related to school-age children, forming traffic culture for future generations.

Previously, in phase 1, the Traffic Police Department established working groups to coordinate with the Commune Police to grasp the situation, supplement basic investigation work, review and count high schools and middle schools in the area; parking lots around school gates; survey and grasp the situation of traffic routes, areas, and school gate areas to determine the rules and times when many students and students' relatives drive vehicles in violation.

The units also coordinated with the school's Board of Directors to organize propaganda for parents, students, officials, teachers and staff; and at the same time, had them sign a commitment to comply with the law on traffic order and safety./.
