Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command informed that in order to enhance safety for tourists visiting and staying in Ha Long Bay, from August 6, the Provincial Military Command arranged a medical ship and 2 mobile boats to patrol the bay 24 hours a day.

Medical ships and mobile boats patrol from 7am to 6pm every day on tourist routes in Ha Long Bay, with one ship permanently stationed at Ti Top Island. From 6pm to 7am the following day, the mobile boats return to Tuan Chau Island to organize a 24/7 shift, ensuring full-time duty.

This is of great significance in ensuring the safety of people and means of tourism activities in particular and the socio-economic development of the locality in general.

With specific actions to ensure the safety of tourists visiting Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh province hopes to achieve the target of welcoming 20 million visitors, including 4.5 million international visitors. Total tourism revenue is expected to reach VND50,000 billion in 2025.
