Entering 2025, Tay Ninh province witnessed a strong and comprehensive breakthrough in many fields. The impressive figures in the first 6 months of the year not only affirmed the right direction of the provincial government, but also showed the determination to realize the aspiration for sustainable development and deep integration with the Southeast region and the whole country.
GRDP growth leads the South
According to a report from the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, in the first 6 months of 2025, the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) reached 9.63%, ranking first in the Southern region and 7th out of 34 provinces and centrally run cities.
The high GRDP growth rate shows the strong recovery of key economic sectors in Tay Ninh. In which, the industrial - construction and service sectors play a leading role, while agriculture continues to maintain stability and transform towards modernity and sustainability.

As of June 30, the total state budget revenue in the area reached more than VND 28,000 billion, equivalent to 75.3% of the annual estimate and an increase of 35% over the same period in 2024. This is a high increase, demonstrating the effectiveness in tax collection and public finance management, and reflecting the revival of the local economy.
At the same time, public investment disbursement - a key indicator in promoting infrastructure development and stimulating growth - reached 47.67% of the plan as of July 2.
Compared to the national average, this is a positive result, thanks to the drastic direction, closely following the plan from the beginning of the year of the Provincial People's Committee and the effective coordination between departments and branches.
Industry recovers, agriculture stabilizes, import and export flourishes
On the production front, Tay Ninh industry is recovering rapidly, especially in the fields of processing and producing raw materials for export. Industrial parks in the province have recorded stable growth, with occupancy rates continuing to increase.
Agriculture continues to be a solid foundation, oriented towards ecological agriculture and high-tech agriculture. Thanks to favorable weather and proactive production, many of the province's key agricultural products - such as sugarcane, cassava, rubber, vegetables, etc. - have achieved high yields and stable prices.
Import and export activities have also shown many positive signs, especially the export of processed agricultural products, electronic components, garments, plastics and rubber. The province is focusing on effectively exploiting free trade agreements (FTAs) and promoting international trade to expand the consumption market for local goods.

Not only successful in economy, Tay Ninh also makes its mark in organizing cultural, sports and tourism activities. Programs and events are organized as planned, contributing to creating an exciting, vibrant atmosphere, attracting a large number of people to participate, especially during the summer and major holidays.
Political security and social order and safety in the province continue to be maintained. Crime prevention, traffic safety, and fire prevention and fighting are implemented seriously and effectively.
The health and education sectors continue to receive investment attention, ensuring the quality of basic services and improving the spiritual life of the people. Many free medical examination and treatment programs and support for students in remote areas have been implemented, demonstrating the spirit of "leaving no one behind" in the province's development strategy.
Two growth scenarios for the whole year 2025
Based on the results achieved in the first half of the year, Tay Ninh province has developed two growth scenarios for the whole year 2025:
Scenario 1: GRDP growth rate reaches 9.3%, requiring growth of 9% or more in the last 6 months of the year;
Scenario 2: Aiming for growth of 10.01%, equivalent to an increase of 10.35% or more in the last 6 months of the year.
Both scenarios demonstrate great ambition but are also the driving force for the entire political system, business community and people to work together to create a strongly developed, modern and livable Tay Ninh.
Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut directed departments, branches and local authorities to implement many key groups of solutions, especially emphasizing: Removing difficulties, overcoming limitations in the organization of the apparatus and administrative coordination mechanism;
Perfecting and effectively operating the two-level local government model, eliminating overlapping and unclear authority; Boosting budget collection, increasing the efficiency of public spending, and promoting new growth drivers according to Resolutions 57 and 68;
Completing the Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, creating a legal basis to attract investment and develop new economic spaces; Improving the business investment environment, improving PCI, PAPI, SIPAS, PAR INDEX...
In particular, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the province will coordinate to organize a series of exhibition and display activities to promote the image of a new, dynamic, friendly and deeply integrated Tay Ninh to people across the country and international friends.
Focus on developing inter-regional transport infrastructure
One of the bright spots in Tay Ninh's economic and infrastructure development in 2025 is the progress of disbursement and construction of key transport projects.

A typical example is the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project through Tay Ninh province, with a total length of about 6.84 km (passing through My Yen commune). Up to now, the project has disbursed more than 1,436 billion VND, out of a total allocated investment of more than 2,252 billion VND. Of which:
Central capital: 1,680 billion VND, fully allocated; Local capital: 560 billion VND, exceeding the plan with a disbursement of more than 572 billion VND.
The Belt Road 3 Project is divided into two main parts: Component Project 7: Road construction with a total investment of VND 3,040 billion; Component Project 8: Compensation and resettlement with a budget of VND 1,168 billion.
To date, the three main packages have completed approximately 78% of the construction volume. It is expected that the expressway will be basically completed by October 2025, and the entire project will be completed in 2026.
This is a route with a particularly important regional connection role, contributing to completing the transportation network between Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City, connecting with the seaport system, airports, border economic zones, promoting socio-economic development of the entire Southeast region.
