Tet At Ty takes place happily, healthily, safely, economically and meaningfully

On February 3, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to listen to reports on the implementation of activities for the Lunar New Year 2025 and give opinions on a number of important contents. Implementing the direction of the Central Government, the Lunar New Year 2025, the work serving Tet is deployed by Quang Ninh effectively, practically, and methodically; meeting the aspirations, wishes, and spreading the joy of development of the people of all ethnic groups in the province.

With the goal of taking care of Tet for people in all regions and all subjects more thoughtfully and better than last year with the criteria of being happier, healthier, more prosperous, happier and safer, the working delegations of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and armed forces units of the province organized visits and New Year greetings to cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in the area; cadres and soldiers of the armed forces; visited and gave gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services and units on duty during Tet.

By the end of the Lunar New Year, the province had given over 351,000 gifts to beneficiaries. Social security policies, promoting the tradition of great solidarity, the spirit of "mutual love and support" of the nation, taking care of the material and spiritual life of the people, ensuring that every household and every person has the conditions to enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet were implemented synchronously at all levels and sectors in many practical and meaningful forms...

Visual and media propaganda activities were promoted and widely spread among the people. Cultural and entertainment activities were organized enthusiastically and diversely in localities in the province, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people. Tourism activities were effectively implemented, attracting a large number of tourists to Quang Ninh during the Lunar New Year. During the 9-day Tet holiday, Quang Ninh welcomed 969,000 tourists. Of which, international visitors reached nearly 229,000. Total tourism revenue reached 2,600 billion VND.

The work of ensuring security, order, social safety, traffic safety, food safety, and fire prevention and fighting is seriously implemented according to the directions of the Central and the province. Goods in the market during Tet are ensured in conjunction with the prevention of smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, fake goods, and poor quality goods so that people can enjoy Tet - welcome Spring happily and safely. The health situation and food safety and hygiene are focused on, not allowing unusual situations to arise.

Regarding the key tasks that need to be implemented in the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the tasks set for Quang Ninh in 2025 are very large, requiring urgent participation with the highest determination and resoluteness of all Party committees, authorities and the entire political system. In particular, the key task is to focus on accelerating the progress of public investment projects as well as non-budget investment projects; thoroughly resolving problems related to land sources as well as difficulties and problems related to administrative procedures in the process of implementing projects. At the same time, focusing on site clearance for industrial parks in the area, especially industrial parks in the Quang Yen Economic Zone; ensuring that there is enough land to attract large, dynamic investment projects. In addition, continuing to promote border trade, import-export and other economic activities. Thereby, creating a competitive atmosphere in the entire political system, business community and people.

The Provincial Party Secretary also affirmed that with the participation of the entire political system right from the first days and months of the new year, Quang Ninh can completely complete the growth goals and targets for 2025 set at a very high level under the direction of the Central Government; continue to affirm the position of one of the leading localities in economic development, making an important contribution to the overall development of the whole country.
