Thai Binh Department of Education and Training has just announced the admission scores for grade 10 high school, round 1, school year 2025-2026. Accordingly, the admission scores have a clear difference between schools, ranging from 13.75-20.5 points.
In the regular system, the candidate's admission score is the sum of the scores of the three exams: math, literature, English and priority or incentive points (if any). This method is different from previous years when Thai Binh calculated the coefficient of math and literature multiplied by 2, and English multiplied by 1.
In the admission results, Nguyen Duc Canh High School continues to lead in terms of benchmark scores with 20.5 points, an average of 6.83 points/subject. This level has decreased sharply compared to 2024 when the average score was 7.6 points/subject (standard score 38, coefficient 5 subjects).
Following are Nguyen Trai High School (19 points), Le Quy Don High School (18.50 points), Bac Dong Quan High School and Quynh Coi High School (both 18.00 points).
Meanwhile, the schools with the lowest benchmark scores are Dong Tien Hai High School and Thai Phuc High School with 13.75 points.
Schools with an average standard score of 5 points/subject or less include Pham Quang Tham High School, Bac Kien Xuong High School (both 14.75 points), Thai Ninh (14.25 points) and Binh Thanh High School (14 points).
Most schools have a benchmark score between 15-17.25 points.

For specialized classes of Thai Binh High School for the Gifted, the admission score is the total score of 4 exams, in which the specialized subject exam is multiplied by a coefficient of 2.
Of which, the highest standard score is for chemistry (38.9), followed by biology (38.5 points) and math (38 points).
This level also decreased sharply compared to 2024 when biology major took the lead with 44.8 points, chemistry major took 40.55 points.
The specialized classes with the lowest scores are geography (30.25 points), French (32.60 points), and Korean (33.70 points).
Specialized classes with an average standard score of about 7 points/subject are history (35.25 points), Chinese (35.75 points), English (36.95 points), and literature (37.00 points).
The 2025-2026 public high school entrance exam in Thai Binh has more than 19,000 candidates taking the exam. The Department arranged 816 exam rooms at 30 examination councils across the province.
