September 13, Mr. Tran Manh Cuong - Deputy Director Vietnam Circus Federation - said that after the federation confirmed on mass media that the transfer transaction to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front with the amount of 10,000 VND with the content "tap the anh em Rap xiec Trung uong ung ho" was not from the federation, at noon on September 13, someone contacted and admitted to being the person who made that transaction.
Mr. Cuong said that this person called the hotline of the Vietnam Circus Federation and said that he had transferred money with the above content.
The leaders of the Vietnam Circus Federation invited this person to work with the federation.
At the meeting, with the presence of the leadership of the Vietnam Circus Federation, representatives of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hai Ba Trung District Police, and Room PA03, this young man confessed that he was a fourth-year student at a university in Hanoi.
The male student also explained that the content of his transfer caused misunderstanding because he and a group of friends created a group named Vietnam Circus to show the group's fun and humorous characteristics.
So when transferring money to support people affected by storms and floods, the content was written as "Central Circus Federation supporting", without thinking of impersonating the Vietnam Circus Federation.
The male student also apologized to all artists of the Vietnam Circus Federation for unintentionally causing misunderstandings that affected the reputation of the federation.
Mr. Cuong said that the Vietnam Circus Federation highly appreciates the male student's spirit of learning and cooperation.
