Ho Chi Minh City: Commending 221 typical collectives and individuals for "skillful mass mobilization" in 2025

This is an opportunity for the city's political system to review its tradition and be proud of the glorious journey over the past 95 years, marking the contribution of mass mobilization work to the overall development of Ho Chi Minh City.

At the same time, the Conference was held to evaluate the results of the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization"; promptly commend, encourage and replicate typical examples so that the movement can develop more deeply, diversely and practically, attracting the active participation of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, armed forces and people of all walks of life.

In recent times, mass mobilization work associated with the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement has become a strong movement, creating a widespread influence in society; attracting people from all walks of life to participate in socio-economic development, stabilizing security and order, protecting the environment, especially promoting the "loyalty" value of Ho Chi Minh City people in social security work.

These activities not only contribute to raising community awareness but also create cohesion and solidarity among all classes of people, promote strong and sustainable development of Ho Chi Minh City, improve people's lives and build a strong, affectionate and responsible community.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Van Thi Bach Tuyet, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, acknowledged and commended the typical collectives and individuals of "skillful mass mobilization" at the city level that were honored today.

These are typical nuclei, shining examples of responsibility, constant creativity, close attachment and devotion to the people, for a better life for their compatriots; living proof of the spirit of great national solidarity.

In the coming time, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Van Thi Bach Tuyet requested Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to continue to thoroughly educate cadres, civil servants and public employees about the important role and strategic significance of mass mobilization work.

This is an important part of the work of building the Party and the political system; constantly innovating mass mobilization activities in a practical, effective direction, focusing on the grassroots, taking people as the center of service.

Party committees must consider mass mobilization work to play a key role and become a direct driving force to strongly promote economic, cultural and social development.

The mass mobilization movement needs to closely follow the political tasks and practical situation of the locality and city, especially in the process of transitioning from the previous administrative management model to a model of creative government serving the people.

Comrade Van Thi Bach Tuyet requested that city and local authorities at all levels continue to launch and compete in skillful mass mobilization, effectively implement the Law on Grassroots Democracy to ensure that the policies of the Party Committee and city government create consensus among the people and achieve the best results, taking the satisfaction of people and businesses as a measure of the effectiveness of the city government's operations.

At the conference, the City People's Committee issued a Decision to award Certificates of Merit to 159 collectives and 62 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in 2025.
