Lao Cai City has completed counting and counting 163 households to serve the site clearance of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong Railway Project.

Lao Cai City People's Committee said that up to now, the land clearance teams for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong Railway Project have completed the statistics and counting of 163 cases, including 44 organizations and 119 households and individuals.

A residential area in Lao Cai ward is located in the corridor of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project.

In which, Lao Cai ward is the locality with the largest volume of land clearance, up to now, there have been statistics of 28 organizations in Dong Pho Moi Industrial Park, 15 organizations in Dong Pho Moi Industrial Cluster and 25 households and individuals.

Xuan Tang Ward is making the fastest progress by having counted all households and organizations in the area; currently organizing the public posting of the plan.

Van Hoa commune has counted 59 households. Thong Nhat commune has counted 28 households.

The City People's Committee has directed the competent authorities to coordinate with the People's Committees of communes and wards to urgently complete the dossier, confirm relevant contents, organize public posting and complete approval in June 2025.

Along with the statistical and counting work, the City People's Committee is speeding up the construction progress of resettlement sites for households and relocating industrial production facilities and industrial clusters.

The Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project passes through 4 communes and wards (Thong Nhat, Xuan Tang, Van Hoa and Lao Cai ward) with a total length of 15.3 km. The total area of land expected to be recovered is 192.17 ha. The number of households and organizations that must be relocated to implement the project is expected to be 499 cases.
