On April 9, 2024, Tan An City Health Department organized a training course on prescribing, managing, and selling drugs according to electronic prescriptions for owners of medical facilities and drug businesses in Tan An city.
The content of the instructions includes instructions for Hospitals, Medical Centers, Medical Stations, and Clinics to use the Electronic Prescription System from medical examination and treatment facilities to people; instructions for electronic prescriptions, connecting to the National information system on prescription management; instructions for drug retail establishments in Tan An city to sell drugs according to electronic prescriptions.
The training course aims to complete the connection of prescribed prescriptions to the National information system for managing prescriptions and selling prescription drugs of the Ministry of Health ; ensure that public and non-public medical examination and treatment facilities in the city carry out the connection of sending electronic prescriptions to the National prescription system (including outpatient prescriptions and inpatient drug combinations); ensure that drug retail establishments implement the sale of drugs using electronic prescriptions according to regulations.
The activity also supports medical examination and treatment facilities across the city to send electronic prescriptions to patients completely free of charge; guides and supports private medical examination and treatment facilities to connect electronic prescriptions to the National information system for managing prescriptions and selling prescription drugs of the Ministry of Health. At the same time, supports and guides drug retail establishments in the city to deploy the sale of electronic prescriptions on the drug retail establishment management software using electronic prescription codes./.
