Impressive achievements of 3 intellectuals participating in A80

In the national parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, the intellectual community also participated with the presence of many outstanding faces. Below are 3 of the impressive faces in the intellectual community at A80.

Sharing with VietNamNet , the participants said that being chosen to represent millions of young Vietnamese intellectuals to participate in the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day was a joy, honor and pride.

“Representing the Vietnamese intellectuals to participate in the parade in the important event of the nation A80, I feel extremely proud and moved. This is not only a sacred moment to pay tribute to the contributions of generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for independence and freedom, but also a strong motivation for today's intellectual generation to continue to make efforts to contribute, master science and technology, contributing to being a leading force in developing the country to become increasingly rich and strong, firmly entering the new era”, Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Thanh Tung shared.

To be honored to be among the intellectuals, Associate Professor Dr. Truong Thanh Tung has had remarkable achievements such as: being the youngest candidate to qualify as an associate professor in 2024; Outstanding Young Teacher Award of Hanoi Capital in 2022; Golden Globe Award 2021; Outstanding Young Face of Vietnam 2022...

Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Thanh Tung has many impressive research projects such as inventing new HIV treatment drugs, targeted cancer treatment drugs, developing new antibiotic replacements that promise to produce "Make in Vietnam" drug products.

Dr. Nguyen Viet Huong, 35 years old, currently Deputy Head of the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, Phenikaa University, shared that these will be unforgettable and beautiful experiences in her life.

Dr. Nguyen Viet Huong was the valedictorian of the Faculty of Engineering Physics and Nanotechnology, University of Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi before receiving a State scholarship and starting his study abroad journey at the age of 19. He was also the valedictorian of the entire course of Materials Science at the Lyon National Institute of Applied Sciences - France's leading engineering school.

At the age of 35, Dr. Huong has made an impression by owning an international patent; 2 international outstanding scientific research awards. He is also the author of 43 scientific articles published in international scientific journals, including 35 articles in the Q1 category ( the world's leading prestigious scientific journal group). He won the Golden Globe Award 2024; is a typical young Vietnamese face in 2024...

“Walking on the historic Ba Dinh Square on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, I clearly felt the national pride and responsibility of an intellectual today. 50 years ago, my mother was also one of the three people's police officers of Ha Tinh who went to Hanoi to parade at the historic Ba Dinh Square on September 2, 1975. Coming from a family with a revolutionary tradition, I deeply understand the value of independence and peace - achievements that were exchanged for countless sacrifices," Dr. Nguyen Viet Huong shared.

He expressed that in the context of the country's increasingly fierce integration and global competition, he and everyone in the intellectual team are deeply aware that they must be in a pioneering position, constantly learning, researching and creating. "We wish to contribute to building a strong science, technology and education, so that Vietnam can develop more and more, be respected by international friends and gradually 'stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's great powers'", Dr. Huong said.

Among the intellectuals at A80 is Dr. Pham Huy Hieu, lecturer at the Institute of Computer Science and Engineering, and a research expert at the VinUni-Illinois Smart Health Center, VinUni University.

He is the owner of many inventions and innovations related to artificial intelligence in digital healthcare. Exactly 10 years since graduating from university, Dr. Hieu has owned a "fortune" of 70 articles, including more than 20 articles in Q1 magazines. The PhD born in 1992 is also the main author of a cluster of 3 scientific works cited and exploited by more than 700 research groups around the world; is the author and co-author of 5 technological solutions with high scientific and practical value. Thanks to these contributions, he became the youngest person to be honored with the Golden Globe Award in 2023; Outstanding Young Vietnamese Face in 2024...

These are just 3 of the outstanding individuals who are included in the intellectual block participating in A80. All are ready to practice, rehearse and look forward to the national parade and march on a special scale to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.
