The project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 338 has a length of 6.57km with a total investment of over 668 billion VND from the provincial budget. The starting point of the route connects with the Ben Rung bridge approach road intersection, and the ending point connects with National Highway 18. The project affects 264 households with a total recovered area of over 28.15 hectares in the wards of Dong Mai, Hiep Hoa and Vang Danh. Currently, the land acquisition work for the project has not met the set plan. Of which, Vang Danh ward has just handed over the state-managed land area and the land area of 19 households, while 43 households are carrying out the land origin approval process; Dong Mai ward has not completed the current map of land acquisition and clearance so the next steps have not been implemented; Hiep Hoa ward has had 47 households hand over the land, while 42 households have not yet counted their assets on the land.

The contractors are also preparing equipment and human resources to be ready for construction as soon as more land is available.
