Many people know that the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) is an important and indispensable part of our country's political system. However, not everyone knows the immense value of this organization in the nation-building, national defense, and protection of the Fatherland throughout the long history of the Vietnamese revolution.
With the deep involvement of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province, the face of rural Vinh Phuc is increasingly improving through practical and meaningful programs such as the new rural development program.
Just 10 months after the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the Vietnam Fatherland Front officially emerged (in various forms and names). Since then, regardless of the stage of the Vietnamese Revolution, this organization has never been absent. This detail alone speaks volumes about the importance of the Fatherland Front to the survival and development of our country.
Throughout our nation's revolutionary history, regardless of the stage, whether in times of prosperity or decline, before or after gaining power, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has always been an indispensable strategic member of the political system.
When the Party was operating clandestinely, the Vietnam Fatherland Front organized the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, mobilized, enlightened, and united the people to fight to overthrow the enemy's government and seize power for the people.
Upon seizing power, the Vietnam Fatherland Front mobilized all strata of the people to unite and fight, defeating invading forces to protect the fledgling government, safeguard independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, restore and develop the economy and culture, and gradually build the material and technical foundations of socialism.
In general, the absence of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the political system would mean the country lacks a cohesive political force, thus preventing it from fully utilizing the resources of the people.
On the one hand, this weakens the Party's leadership role and the State's management role; there is no mechanism to control bureaucratic tendencies, abuse of power, and other negative aspects within the State apparatus; it restricts the exercise of the people's right to self-governance and creates many other difficulties for the operation of the political system.
On the other hand, in the current context, given the complex and sensitive socio-political relations among organizations, classes, ethnic groups, and religions, if solutions are applied solely through the state's institutions and laws without the mobilization, persuasion, reconciliation, propaganda, and consultation efforts of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the effectiveness of mobilizing the people will be low, and the democratic regime will transform into an authoritarian, voluntarist regime lacking objectivity, fairness, democracy, and civilization.
Therefore, the existence, role, and position of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the Vietnamese political system, viewed from a scientific perspective and in relation to social structure, is an objective necessity, and the value of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is immeasurable.
In the current era of reform, multilateralism, and global integration, the Fatherland Front needs to continue and build upon the valuable traditions and experiences of history to maximize the spirit of national unity, thereby unleashing endogenous resources and making a significant contribution to fulfilling the mission of bringing our country to stand shoulder to shoulder with developed countries in the world.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front, in its role as a broad political alliance, must coordinate the strength of its member organizations and actively propagate and mobilize the people to clearly understand the Party's guidelines, policies, and resolutions.
The Fatherland Front Committees at all levels should regularly organize study sessions for the people on the Party's policies and resolutions. This can be done through various forms such as disseminating documents, through the Front's media system, through quizzes, and through people's forums.
In the process of mobilizing the people to implement the Party's guidelines, policies, and resolutions, through the opinions of the masses, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and other political and social organizations promptly propose to the Party difficulties and obstacles so that the Party can provide timely guidance and improve effectiveness in the practical lives of the people.
Through the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies in various aspects of social life, the Party has gained valuable experience in formulating its own specific decisions in the process of national development.
Through the close relationship between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations with the Party, the connection between the Party and the people, and between the people and the Party, is strengthened and developed; the Party's power is enhanced.
As a result, the people will become increasingly enlightened about socialism, trust in the Party's leadership; enthusiastically participate in revolutionary action movements and patriotic emulation campaigns, and successfully carry out the cause of building and firmly defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
