More major projects in Gia Lai

Accordingly, the Gia Lai Provincial Theater, Cultural and Art Exhibition Center, and General Library project was approved by the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council in 2021 and is managed by the Gia Lai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board. The project aims to improve the quality of art appreciation for the province's residents, serve tourists, and promote local tourism development. Furthermore, this project also promotes cultural development and serves important political and diplomatic events of the province.

Inter-agency workspace model

The planned theater will have a capacity of 1,000 seats; functional rooms and auxiliary rooms will be completed according to the national standard TCVN 9369:2012. The project will also integrate items such as: a provincial library, exhibition space, along with technical infrastructure and other supporting items (concrete courtyard, garage, parking lot, etc.) with a total investment of 200 billion VND from the provincial budget.

This project is being implemented in Pleiku City ( Gia Lai province) from 2022 to 2024. It is expected to meet the artistic needs of the people and provide Gia Lai province with another magnificent cultural landmark.

In addition, the Gia Lai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board is also expediting the necessary procedures to commence construction of the Provincial-level Office Complex project. This will be the second inter-agency office complex in Gia Lai province.

The construction of this inter-departmental office complex will ensure focus, efficiency, and convenience in handling related tasks. Along with the ongoing administrative reform in Gia Lai, citizens will benefit from improved work-related services. In particular, the completion of this inter-departmental complex will free up valuable land, attracting investors to develop this land and contributing to local socio -economic development.

Previously, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council's resolution clearly stated the investment objectives as follows: To build infrastructure to meet the needs of convenient work and communication with the people; to arrange departmental-level agencies in line with the goals of administrative reform, civil service, and public service; to improve competitiveness and international integration; to enhance the efficiency of land use under state management; and to combine this with urban beautification, especially in the central area of ​​Pleiku City.

The multi-agency complex includes the construction of a new building for provincial-level agencies with two blocks. It is planned to accommodate the Economic - Internal Affairs block (comprising 7 departments and agencies) and the Culture - Social Affairs block (comprising 7 departments and agencies), as well as space for the province's integrated data center and specialized archives.

With a construction area of ​​2,764 m² and a total floor area of ​​15,166 m², the project has a total investment of 240 billion VND from the provincial budget and will be implemented in Pleiku City from 2022 to 2024.
