Accordingly, the Gia Lai Provincial Theater, Cultural and Art Exhibition Center and General Library project was approved by the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council in 2021, managed by the Gia Lai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board. The project aims to contribute to improving the quality of art enjoyment for people in the province, serving tourists, and promoting local tourism development. On the other hand, this project also promotes the development of cultural careers, as well as serving important political tasks and diplomatic events of the province.
Inter-agency workspace model
The theater is expected to have 1,000 seats; complete functional rooms and auxiliary rooms according to national standards TCVN 9369:2012. The project also integrates items such as: Provincial Library, exhibition space, technical infrastructure system and other auxiliary items (concrete yard, garage, parking lot...) with a total investment of 200 billion VND from the provincial budget.
This project is implemented in Pleiku City ( Gia Lai ) during 2022 - 2024. This is a project expected to meet the people's need to enjoy art and Gia Lai province also has another magnificent cultural project.
In addition, the Gia Lai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board is also promoting relevant procedures to start construction of the Provincial Office Building Project. This is the second inter-agency office building in Gia Lai province.
The construction of this inter-agency working area will ensure concentration, smoothness, and convenience in the process of solving related tasks. Along with the administrative reform process being promoted in Gia Lai, people will benefit in their work needs. In particular, when this inter-agency working area is completed, it will "liberate" a number of valuable "golden" land funds, attracting investors to exploit this land fund, contributing to the development of the local economy and society.
Previously, in the resolution of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council, the investment objectives were clearly stated as follows: Building facilities to meet the needs of working and conveniently contacting people; arranging department-level agencies associated with the goals of administrative reform, civil servants, public service, improving competitiveness and international integration, improving the efficiency of land use managed by the State, combined with urban embellishment, especially the central area of Pleiku City.

The inter-agency area includes the construction of new Offices for provincial agencies with 2 blocks. It is expected to be arranged for the Economic - Internal Affairs block including 7 departments and branches and the Cultural - Social block including 7 departments and branches, while also arranging the area for the Data Integration Center and the specialized Archive of the province.
With a construction area of 2,764 m², a total floor area of 15,166 m², the project has a total investment of 240 billion VND from the provincial budget, implemented in Pleiku City during 2022 - 2024.
