This morning (June 27), Ho Chi Minh City Open University announced the results of its separate admission methods.

The early admission methods with announced benchmark scores this time include: excellent student method, method based on academic records combined with foreign language certificates and method based only on high school transcripts.
In which, the benchmark for excellent student method of some majors is from 28 and above such as: marketing, international business.
Standard scores for each major according to admission methods are as follows:
The admission score for law and economic law in group C00 (literature, history, geography) is 1.5 points higher than the remaining groups.
Computer science (general and high quality), information technology, construction engineering technology (general and high quality), construction management, data science: math with a coefficient of 2.
Language majors (English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean) and high-quality majors (including economic law, English, Chinese, Korean, business administration, finance and banking, accounting, economics): foreign language subject has coefficient 2.
Admission scores are converted to a 30-point system, rounded to 2 decimal places. Priority points for candidates with a total score of 22.5 or higher (when converted to a 10-point scale and the maximum total score of 3 subjects is 30) are determined according to the following formula: Priority points = [(30 - Total score achieved)/7.5] x Prescribed priority score level.
Ho Chi Minh City Open University also notes that candidates are fully responsible for the information they have declared when registering for admission. After candidates complete the admission procedures, the school will conduct a post-check of their records. In case of any errors (personal information, scores, priorities, etc.), the school will issue a disciplinary decision and force the candidate to leave school. In addition, candidates who meet the admission requirements (except for the high school graduation requirement) need to continue to follow the admission registration steps according to the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
