This morning (July 17), Ho Chi Minh City University of Science announced the university admission threshold (floor score) in 2025 for the method based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam and the method based on the 2025 capacity assessment exam.

For the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the minimum score for admission to majors is from 16-24 points.

For the method of considering the competency assessment exam scores, the minimum score for admission to majors ranges from 600-850 points.

For the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, in addition to the above requirements, candidates need a math score in the admission combination of 8.0 or higher and a total score of 3 admission subjects of 24 or higher.

For the method of considering the competency assessment exam scores, in addition to the above requirements, candidates must have an average math score of 8.0 or higher in grades 10, 11, and 12 on a 10-point scale; Achieve a competency assessment score when converted to the corresponding 2025 high school score of 24 points or higher according to the regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University.
