Hydropower construction destroys 7 km of residential road
According to the reporter's records, the damaged road stretches from Violac village to Vioka village (Po E commune). This road also leads to the Nuoc Long hydroelectric plant. Over a long period of time, heavy-duty vehicles have continuously passed by, causing the concrete road surface in many sections to peel off and crumble. The roadbed is marked with tracks from tracked vehicles.
According to Mr. Luong Ngoc Bao, this road has a load capacity of 6 tons. Before the hydroelectric plant was built, the road was still good, the road surface was flat and beautiful. When the construction started, the hydroelectric plant brought in heavy trucks to transport rocks, soil, and sand for construction, so the road was damaged. The damaged road section was about 7 km long, greatly affecting the traffic of the people.
