NDO - Le Do Quyen, an 11-year-old MC, has just won the Gold Cup at the Hong Kong International Music Festival (China), one of the largest music talent competitions in Asia.

According to information from her family, Le Do Quyen, 11 years old this year, has just won the Gold Cup at the Hong Kong International Music Festival (China) - Hong Kong International Music Festival (HKIMF). Not only winning the Gold Cup, Do Quyen also became the Vietnamese contestant to perform at the closing ceremony of the Festival. This is one of the top awards honoring musical talent in Asia, attracting nearly 4,000 other contestants from 150 countries around the world and the region. As one of the representatives from Vietnam, Do Quyen performed the song "Courage to change" by SIA for the Children Pop Voice competition and won the highest prize in this category.

Sharing about the performance that helped her win the award, she said: "In this competition, I didn't have much time to search for songs. At that time, I just thought that if I were to compete internationally, I would have to use an English song, which is also my forte. That's why my teacher Thuong Elena and I (music lecturer) decided to choose the song "Courage to change" by SIA. The content of the song is quite similar to my mood when entering the competition, I want to overcome difficulties and assert myself." Talking about her award, Do Quyen excitedly said: "This is probably an award beyond my expectations and I will consider it as a motivation to encourage the singing path that I am pursuing. I will bring this pride, happiness and encouragement to gradually conquer the dream of an artist in the future."

After the competition, talking about Do Quyen's award, President of HKIMF Vietnam - Pianist Nguyen Le Thuyen Ha said: "With an excellent performance and outstanding image investment, competing with more than 3,000 contestants from more than 120 countries around the world, Do Quyen has excellently achieved the Top 1 position - the top position of Children Pop Voice. Do Quyen is a smart and professional girl. When reaching the Top 1 position, she entered the final round for the top contestants and passed the interview round to become one of the first Vietnamese contestants to perform at the award ceremony/closing ceremony of the competition. At the same time, she was also honored to be selected to perform in the closing performance of the program with the Top 1 contestants. With this achievement, we hope that Do Quyen will continue to nurture her passion and develop, and be more successful on her artistic path". Ms. Do Thuy, mother of young singer Do Quyen, shared: "The whole family, friends and relatives are very happy with the results she has achieved. These results are mainly from her own efforts and also have a lucky factor. In all the competitions she participated in, her parents did not set any achievement goals, but mainly let her experience and hone her skills and confidence when standing on stage". At school, Le Do Quyen has always been an excellent student. She has won many domestic and international awards such as: Mathematics, English... and talent awards: Drawing, singing, dancing... She also enthusiastically participated in school activities such as the charity concert "Lac Viet Bird Wings - For the Eyes of Children" (2023) directed by Meritorious Artist Tran Ngoc; donated money, food, and necessities to the children of Finado Humanitarian House in Soc Son, Hanoi ; Participate in the activity "Speak up with Vietnamese children" for children with disabilities and children in especially difficult circumstances at the School for Community Integration Development...
The Vietnamese delegation has 32 contestants attending the contest in Hong Kong (China) competing with nearly 4,000 other contestants from 150 countries around the world and the region.
