After a gloomy morning with red covering the entire market, the stock market on the afternoon of September 24 had a spectacular reversal, bringing many emotions to investors.
At the end of the session, VN-Index increased by 22.2 points to 1,657.46 points. Liquidity reached more than 998 million shares, equivalent to more than 27,124.2 billion VND. The whole floor had 231 stocks increasing, 88 stocks decreasing and 51 stocks remaining unchanged.

The main driving force for the VN-Index recovery came from the banking group, in which VPB, TCB, HDB and VCB contributed the most to the VN-Index's increase. Notably, HDB increased to the ceiling. On the contrary, VHM, VIC, BMP and SJS were still under selling pressure, restraining the index's increase.
The VN30 basket was almost entirely green with 27 stocks increasing, only 2 stocks decreasing and 1 stock remaining unchanged. In addition to the banking group, securities, oil and gas, telecommunications and materials stocks also rose.
Meanwhile, foreign investors continued to sell strongly. On HOSE, the net selling value was more than VND1,524 billion, concentrated in VHM (VND245.47 billion), SSI (VND198.34 billion), VPB (VND123.54 billion) and VCI (VND104.74 billion). On HNX, this group sold a net of more than VND42 billion, mainly in IDC (VND49.3 billion), PVS (VND20.19 billion), HUT (VND9.23 billion) and NTP (VND9.22 billion).
At the end of the session on September 24, the stock market recorded an impressive reversal when the VN-Index increased by more than 22 points, with green dominating many industry groups.
Banking and securities groups, along with oil, telecommunications, and raw materials stocks, became the main driving forces to help the market escape the morning gloom.
However, foreign transactions still maintained a net selling trend, creating a certain differentiation in the overall market picture./.
