Business households in Vinh Bao commune signed a commitment not to encroach on roads and sidewalks.

On the morning of September 24, the People's Committee of Vinh Bao commune organized a campaign to clear traffic corridors, handle illegal use of roads and sidewalks, and remove illegal advertisements on roads in the commune with the participation of more than 200 people including police, grassroots security, associations, unions, villages, residential areas, and schools in the area.

This campaign will be carried out from now until September 30, 2025 on all roads in the commune, focusing on National Highway 10, the section from An Hoa gas station to Tan Lien industrial cluster, Road 208, Dong Thai Street, May 1st Street, National Highway 17B from Nhan Muc Bridge to Vinh Thinh, Vinh Hoa.

The commune mobilized students from local schools to actively participate in the peak traffic safety period, organized a general cleaning campaign, cleared the corridors of the roads in the whole commune to ensure green, clean, beautiful and traffic safety. Vinh Bao commune police required businesses in the area to sign a commitment not to occupy the roadway or sidewalk for business purposes.

Previously, the People's Committee of Vinh Bao commune promoted propaganda work, organized surveys, reviews, and made a list of cases of encroachment on roads, sidewalks, and traffic safety corridors for business purposes; locations and routes with traffic safety risks... and proposed solutions for each case.

On the first day of operation, the forces propagated and mobilized households to voluntarily dismantle 40 awnings, canopies, and canvas roofs for selling goods encroaching on the sidewalk, and removed hundreds of classified advertisements posted on electric poles, trees, lamps, residential areas, and public areas.
