On October 31, Bidoup – Nui Ba National Park coordinated with the People's Committee of Lac Duong Commune, Lac Duong Forest Protection Department, Bidoup – Nui Ba Forest Protection Department and Lac Duong Commune Police to organize a peak period of patrolling, searching, preventing and resolutely clearing illegal encroachment of forest land in the forest area managed by the unit.

During this period, functional units are deploying a peak period of patrolling, sweeping, preventing and resolutely clearing illegal encroachment of forest land in sub-regions 124 and 125 in Lac Duong commune (Lac Duong district).

Violations were reviewed, compared with maps and records were made for strict handling according to regulations.

This campaign aims to thoroughly handle cases of encroachment, re-encroachment and misuse of forestry land; resolutely not allowing people to continue planting trees, cultivating or making profit on forest land.

In parallel with the clearance work, the units will reforest the recovered area to restore ecology, increase coverage and ensure long-term stability for the upstream forest area; at the same time, implement the program of planting 50 million trees of Lam Dong province.
