Olam Gia Lai celebrates 20 years of establishment

(GLO)- On October 31, in Pleiku ward, Olam Company Limited branch in Gia Lai province (Olam Gia Lai) celebrated its 20th anniversary.

Olam Gia Lai was established in December 2005, with a factory located in Tra Da Industrial Park (Pleiku ward). This is one of the first cashew processing factories in the province, where there is a large cashew cultivation area.

In addition to creating stable jobs for about 500 local workers, Olam Gia Lai has focused on developing raw material areas and linking to purchase farmers' products in a sustainable manner. Thereby, it has actively contributed to the socio- economic development of the province.

Every year, Olam Gia Lai also focuses on community activities and social security through educational , health and social welfare support programs in the locality such as: blood donation, scholarships for poor students, support for housing construction for people in difficult circumstances...

On this occasion, the Company awarded 21 outstanding employee awards and 272 dedication awards with a total value of nearly 1 billion VND to employees who have contributed to the unit's 20-year journey of operation.
