Nghi Son Town: Signing a commitment to complete the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses

Conference overview.

Implementing Directive No. 22-CT/TU, dated March 30, 2024 of the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on the Campaign to support housing construction for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province in the 2 years 2024-2025; in (phase 2) of 2025, the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee and the Steering Committee of the Campaign of Nghi Son town have led, directed, focused on thoroughly disseminating and seriously and promptly implementing it to cadres, party members, union members and people of all walks of life.

As of May 13, 2025, the total budget received through the Town Fatherland Front Committee in both phases (phase 1 and phase 2) in Nghi Son town is 20 billion 616 million VND; the budget from the 5% savings source on regular expenditure in 2024 is 1 billion 153 million VND.

According to statistics, the total demand for new construction and house repair in the town in (phase 2) 2025 is 318 houses. Of which, 70 new houses will be built and 248 houses will be repaired. By May 13, the town had started construction and repair of 87 houses (37 new houses, 50 houses repaired) and had provided support funding (5 billion 48 million VND).

Comrade Trinh Xuan Phu, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Nghi Son town delivered a speech directing the conference.

Comrade Trinh Xuan Phu, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Nghi Son Town, requested that with the highest political responsibility of the political system from the town to the communes and wards, the Standing Committee members of the Town Party Committee, members of the Town Party Committee Standing Committee in charge of the cluster focus on directing the communes and wards in propaganda and mobilization work; directly direct the construction of new houses and house repairs for households in the assigned communes and wards, and complete the construction and repair of new houses no later than May 20, 2025. Strive to complete the construction and repair of new houses and put them into use for households before June 30, 2025.

Comrade Nguyen The Anh, Chairman of Nghi Son Town People's Committee signed a commitment with the Secretary of Nguyen Binh Ward Party Committee.

At the conference, with the highest political determination, the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee, the Standing Committee members of the Town Party Committee in charge of directing the area signed a commitment to responsibility with the Party Secretary of 30 communes and wards in the town to complete the goal of supporting the construction and repair of houses according to Directive No. 42/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister and Directive No. 22-CT/TU of the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee in Nghi Son town in 2025. With the requirement to complete all houses in the area before May 20, 2025 and commit to complete the goal of building and repairing houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in Nghi Son town before June 30, 2025.
