Major General Le Dinh Cuong was appointed Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard.

(NLDO)- According to the Prime Minister's Decision, Major General Le Dinh Cuong was appointed Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard from September 18.

The Prime Minister has issued decisions to appoint and reappoint leadership positions of a number of units under the Ministry of National Defense, including the Navy, Vietnam Coast Guard, Military Region 3, and Vietnam News Agency.

In Decision No. 2086, the Prime Minister reappointed Vice Admiral Tran Thanh Nghiem, member of the Party Central Committee, to the position of Commander of the Navy. This decision takes effect from September 11.

In Decision No. 2089, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Le Dinh Cuong, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Vietnam Coast Guard, to hold the position of Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard. This decision takes effect from September 18.

The Prime Minister issued Decision No. 2088 reappointing Major General Ha Tat Dat to the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 3. This decision takes effect from September 11.

In Decision No. 2087 of the Prime Minister, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hung was reappointed as Deputy General Director of Vietnam News Agency. This decision takes effect from September 17.
