Thoai Son launched the Peak Month for the Poor and mobilized the Spring Tree Fund

On October 22, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thoai Son commune (An Giang province) held a launching ceremony for the Peak Month for the Poor in 2025 and mobilized the Binh Ngo Spring Tree Fund 2026.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thoai Son commune received symbolic boards supporting the Fund for the Poor from units and enterprises.

At the ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thoai Son commune received symbolic support boards from units, businesses, and philanthropists, including: 14 Great Solidarity houses worth 600 million VND; 200 gifts worth 100 million VND.

From July 2025 to present, implementing the two-level local government model, Thoai Son commune has received more than 1.6 billion VND (in cash and in kind) from the Fund for the Poor. Thereby, it has spent on building 16 new Great Solidarity houses, giving gifts to 2,638 poor and disadvantaged households and supporting 30 poor but studious students.
