According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 10, a low trough with an axis through the Central region connecting with a low pressure area over the North East Sea combined with a medium to strong southwest monsoon, causing showers and thunderstorms in the North, South Central, Central Highlands and South, with very heavy rain in some places.

On the morning of June 10, the mountainous and midland areas of the North had moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain, with total rainfall ranging from 30-60mm, locally over 150mm.

Hanoi : Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms Thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Southeast to South wind level 2-3. Highest temperature 29-32 degrees Celsius, some places above 32 degrees Celsius.

Northeast : Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; mountainous and midland areas have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain. Light wind.
