Previously, on January 30th, the Cho Don Area Power Management Team inspected and energized the Khuoi Tao Substation with 2.65km of 35kV power lines and 1.5km of low-voltage power lines, supplying electricity to 28 households in Khuoi Tao village; the power lines were invested in starting in November 2024.

By the end of 2025, Um Don village will have 15 poor households and 22 near-poor households, of which the former Khuoi Tao village area already has 9 poor households and 5 near-poor households. Previously, before electricity was available, the villagers used mini-electric generators, small-capacity solar lights, and oil lamps for daily lighting.

Access to the national power grid not only brings light but also opens up opportunities for development in all aspects, improving the lives of the people. This is the last village in Yen Phong commune, as well as in the former Cho Don district, to officially receive electricity, eliminating the last "black spot" in the area without access to the national power grid.
