1. Content of the stele
- The stele affirms the correct and creative leadership of our Party and President Ho Chi Minh in the decision to organize the construction of a strategic sea supply line connecting the great rear of the North with the great front line of the South; the patriotism, iron will, and determination to liberate the South and unify the country of our entire Party, people, and army. Ben Tre is one of the leading localities in the Dong Khoi uprising and is also the pioneering place, starting the legendary ships, contributing to the glorious history of the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail at sea.
- The stele depicts the historical milestones of the formation of the military transport route secretly carried out by the Vietnam People's Navy and the Liberation Army of South Vietnam on the East Sea in Ben Tre. That is, the trip to the North to report the situation and request weapons for the Southern battlefield by Female General Nguyen Thi Dinh at the end of March 1946. The formation of the 759th Ship Transport Group on October 23, 1961. marked an important historical milestone, opening a new development step of the strategic transport route - the Ho Chi Minh trail at sea. On September 19, 1962, the Military Commission of the Region decided to establish Group 962 with the task of building coastal wharves in the South, receiving strategic goods from the Central, storing, preserving, and transferring them to R (the Region) and other battlefields as required. The founding date of Group 962 was also the birth date of Ben Tre wharf, code name A101, code number B3; the command base was located in Thanh Phong forest , Thanh Phu district.
- The stele shows the intelligence and bravery to avoid enemy detection to ensure the secrecy of the sea transport route and the secrecy of the ships. The contributions, sacrifices and blood of the army and people of Ben Tre to ensure the safety of the unnumbered ships.
2. Form of stele
The writing style must be solemn, clear, dignified, concise, and full of historical and cultural data in the rhythmic or parallel prose genre; expressing heroic and tragic emotions that touch people's hearts. Priority is given to choosing articles that demonstrate historical and cultural values, local writing style, and fully reflect the required content.
3. Contestants
All Vietnamese citizens, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, religion, or occupation.
- Members of the Organizing Committee and the Jury of the Contest are not allowed to participate in the contest.
4. Time
- Launch the Competition in December 2024.
- Entries must be received by March 31, 2025 (based on the postmark on the envelope or the time of sending the email ).
- Complete grading and announce results by August 2025.

5. Regulations on entries
- The works participating in the contest must be new, not entered in other contests, not published in the mass media. The author is responsible for copyright before the Contest Organizing Committee and the law.
- The entry must not exceed 600 words, presented on A4 paper, Time New Roman font , size 14 printed on paper or sent as an electronic file. An author can submit multiple entries but will only receive one highest prize.
- All entries will not be returned to the author. The Organizing Committee of the Contest has the full right to use the winning works.
- The Organizing Committee of the Contest has the right to revoke all values related to the work (certificates, awards) in case of copyright infringement.
- Contest entries must clearly state:
+ Full name (including pen name if any) of the author;
+ Occupation (if any);
+ Contact address: Clearly write your address and phone number in your entry and on the envelope.
6. Prize structure
- 1 First Prize: Certificate from the Organizing Committee of the Competition and 35,000,000 VND.
- 5 Consolation prizes: each prize includes a certificate from the Organizing Committee of the Competition and 7,000,000 VND.
- Depending on the actual situation and quality of the work, the prize may be less than the prescribed structure. Bonuses will be subject to taxes and fees as prescribed by law.
