Recall of a series of skin creams and feminine hygiene solutions

The Drug Administration of Vietnam, Ministry of Health has just issued a series of notices to suspend circulation and recall nationwide 3 batches of skin cream, cleaning solution, and cosmetics due to violating regulations.

In which, the batch of Oriental herbal cream - Box of 1 bottle of 40g, on the label is written: Whitening skin - Melasma - Freckles - Age spots - Multi-function. Product has the registration number: 05/16/CBMP-DL; batch number: 01; production date: April 25, 2025; expiry date: 3 years from the date of manufacture.

This batch was recalled due to two violations: it was produced after the expiration date of the cosmetic product declaration receipt number and the product label stated uses that were not suitable for the cosmetic product.

The organization responsible for bringing this product to market is Paris Cosmetics Company Limited (address: 382/46 Huynh Tan Phat, Nha Be Commune, Ho Chi Minh City).

Previously, the product sample found to be in violation was taken by the Center for Drug, Cosmetic and Food Testing - Hanoi Department of Health at Minh Ngoc pharmacy (Dong Anh, Hanoi).

The second product with a recalled batch is Betel leaf and green tea feminine hygiene solution - Box of 1 bottle of 150 ml. The label states: Receipt number of Declaration Form: 181/20/CBMP-ND; Batch number: 03425; production date: April 2, 2025; expiry date April 1, 2028.

The organization responsible for bringing the product to market and manufacturing: Delavy Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Company Limited (address: Giao Thuy commune, Ninh Binh province).

Previously, the Center for Drug, Cosmetic and Food Testing - Nghe An Provincial Department of Health took product samples at Quang Minh Pharmacy (address: Hamlet 4, Quy Chau Commune, Nghe An) and discovered violations of "not meeting quality standards on microbial limit indicators".

For the same reason, a batch of Luxury Care cleaning solution - Box of 1 bottle of 150 ml, with the label stating: Receipt of Declaration: 9831/21/CBMP-HN; Batch number: 120824; production date 12-8-2024; expiry date 12-8-2027 was also recalled nationwide.

The cosmetic samples found to be in violation were taken by the Drug, Cosmetic and Food Testing Center - Nghe An Provincial Department of Health at the counter of HDT Pharmaceutical and Investment Joint Stock Company (address: Ban Moi, Hung Chan Commune, Nghe An Province) for quality testing.

The organization responsible for bringing the product to market is Danipharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Hanoi); SJK Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Biotechnology Company Limited (address: Nghia Hao village, Phu Nghia commune, Hanoi) produces.
