Hanoi barricaded part of Vo Nguyen Giap street for nearly 3 months for construction and repair.

The Hanoi Department of Construction has just issued a notice on traffic organization to serve the construction project of repairing and maintaining the lighting system on Vo Nguyen Giap expressway (from Ca Lo bridge to the intersection with Vo Van Kiet street).

On November 21, the Hanoi Department of Construction issued a notice on traffic organization to serve the construction project of repairing and maintaining the lighting system on Vo Nguyen Giap expressway (from Ca Lo bridge to the intersection with Vo Van Kiet street).

Specifically, the repair and maintenance process of the above items is divided into 2 phases.

Phase 1 will repair and maintain the lighting system along the left and right sidewalks of Vo Nguyen Giap Street.

In particular, the construction units will erect mobile barriers close to the sidewalks of the left and right lanes of Vo Nguyen Giap Street in the direction of Hanoi - Dong Anh and vice versa to repair and maintain the lighting system. The barrier length is 80m, the width of the barrier is 4m, the remaining road surface is 11m.

Organize traffic flow through the construction area according to the current traffic organization plan.

The Hanoi Department of Construction requires that construction units are not allowed to work from 6am to 9am in the morning and from 4pm to 7:30pm in the afternoon every day according to regulations. Vehicles and machinery serving the project's construction must be gathered outside the route to minimize traffic congestion.

Phase 2 will repair and maintain the lighting system along the median strip between the left and right lanes of Vo Nguyen Giap Street.

Specifically, the construction unit will install mobile barriers on the left and right lanes close to the median strip of Vo Nguyen Giap Street in the direction of Hanoi - Dong Anh with a barrier length of 80m, a barrier width of 4m, and the remaining road surface of 11m.

Implementation period from November 22, 2025 to February 14, 2026.

Hanoi Department of Construction requires that during holidays, Tet, festival days in the construction area or when requested by functional units to ensure traffic safety, investors must direct construction units to clean up construction machinery and construction materials.
