On the morning of July 30, at the conference on personnel work organized by Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee, Head of Department 1 of the Central Organization Committee Nguyen Van Tung announced the Secretariat's decision on personnel.
Accordingly, Mr. Tran Duy Dong will cease to be Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment and will be appointed to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Quang Duong then presented the decision to Mr. Tran Duy Dong.
Mr. Tran Duy Dong, 45 years old, from Thanh Hoa province, has a PhD in Economics and a Master's degree in Public Policy in Japan. He has worked for many years at the Ministry of Planning and Investment , starting as a specialist in the Department of Economic Zone Management.
In 2014, he was appointed Director of the Department of Economic Zones Management and four years later, Director of the Department of Local and Territorial Economy. Since October 2020, Mr. Dong has held the position of Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment.
Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee currently has Mr. Duong Van An as Secretary and a Deputy Secretary, Mr. Dong.
