On the afternoon of November 5th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended a cultural festival and tourism promotion event in Vietnam, held to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China and the Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year in 2025.


Promoting friendly neighborly relations, Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

This event is part of my working visit to China and was held at the Yunnan Theater in Kunming.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited an exhibition showcasing 40 photographs about Vietnam's heritage, culture, and tourism, with four main themes: Vietnam - Land of wondrous heritage; Vietnam - Paradise of world biosphere reserves; Vietnam - Land of human memory; Vietnam - Home of world intangible heritage.

In particular, the Prime Minister and the delegation, along with a large audience from both countries, enjoyed an art exchange program performed by Vietnamese and Chinese artists with the theme: "May we forever hold hands and keep our hearts true."

Musical works reflecting the cultural characteristics of both countries are performed by artists from both nations using traditional musical instruments.

Many Vietnamese songs have been performed by Chinese artists, and many Chinese songs have been performed by Vietnamese artists very successfully, leaving a positive and lasting impression on the audience.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented flowers to congratulate and commend the artists of both countries for bringing to the audience a program of high artistic quality, especially one that demonstrated the spirit of solidarity and friendship between the two countries and their people.

This program contributes to further strengthening and promoting friendly neighborly relations, the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, and the "Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future, which is of strategic significance," making them increasingly developed, profound, comprehensive, and sustainable.

Each person is always an ambassador of Vietnam-China friendship.

Earlier, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with officials and staff of the Consulate General and the Vietnamese community in Yunnan province, China.

Sharing his thoughts with the Vietnamese community, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the railway in connecting the two economies, connecting people, and promoting people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.

He stated that Kunming is a place of great significance to the Vietnamese revolution, and that this significance will be further enhanced in the current period as the two countries continue to consolidate and promote the comprehensive strategic partnership and the "Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future" which is of strategic importance, developing in a deeper, more comprehensive, and sustainable manner to bring common benefits to both peoples and countries.

Expressing his deep emotions upon visiting the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Kunming, the Prime Minister also stated that we will always remember the immense assistance of the Party, State, and people of China in our struggle for national liberation and national development.

Sending warm sentiments from his homeland to his compatriots, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his gratitude to the Party, State, and people of China for creating favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community to live, study, and work comfortably and stably, enabling them to best develop their abilities.

The Prime Minister urged the representative agencies to continue to pay attention to and care for the community, treating them as if they were their own family members, and taking care of their affairs as if they were their own family matters, especially when they face difficulties or hardships.

The Prime Minister hopes that the Vietnamese community in China will continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity, live, study, and work in accordance with the law, integrate actively, and develop successfully.

The Prime Minister hopes that each person will always be an ambassador of the Vietnam-China friendship, "both comrades and brothers," which has been built and nurtured over many generations and will continue to be passed on to future generations.

This relationship has become a precious shared heritage of the two peoples and two countries, which needs to be inherited, preserved, continuously promoted, and developed by present and future generations.
