At the ceremony, the Prime Minister emphasized that the recognition of this complex by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage is not only a source of pride for the three provinces and cities but also a tribute to the unique values of Truc Lam Buddhism in shaping the identity and spirit of the Vietnamese people.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has put forward many important requirements and solutions to preserve and promote heritage values. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of completing the national and local legal framework to protect inter-provincial heritage. At the same time, the Prime Minister requested specific regulations on the roles and responsibilities of management agencies and communities in coordinating conservation.

The Prime Minister also requested the development of a comprehensive management plan with the participation of ministries, sectors and localities, in which Quang Ninh province is the leading agency. This plan needs to fully identify risks, provide solutions to respond to risks and natural disasters, and have an effective tourist management plan.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: “Each citizen will be a "cultural ambassador" in continuing to spread, propagate and promote the unique image of this important complex of relics and landscapes to international friends, especially on digital platforms, and affirm that the people are both the center and the subject in the process of heritage development.

The special art program “Thanh am Yen Tu - A thousand-year heritage” recreated the journey of King Tran Nhan Tong, who, after completing his mission as a wise king, chose Yen Tu as the place to become a monk, founding the Truc Lam Zen sect with the philosophy of “Living in the world and enjoying the Dharma”, spreading the values of reconciliation, peace and harmony.

Mr. Pham Duc An, Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, representing all three localities, affirmed his commitment to upholding a high sense of responsibility, closely coordinating and synchronously managing heritage in accordance with the provisions of law and the Convention on the Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage. Localities will ensure the preservation of the intact value of heritage, while promoting creativity and harmony in the context of sustainable development.

With great pride and responsibility, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh provinces and Hai Phong city believe that the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiep Bac relic and scenic complex will continue to shine, not only as a symbol of Vietnam's spiritual culture but also as an attractive destination, a place that inspires the values of peace, humanity and wisdom for every person.

At the ceremony, Mr. Jonathan Wallace Baker, Chief Representative of UNESCO in Vietnam, emphasized the global value of Yen Tu, especially in representing Vietnam in both spirit and national identity. This is the birthplace of Truc Lam Buddhism, representing the way to form national identity by combining Buddhism, spiritual and cultural values...
